Chakra Terminology
"What you are looking for is already in you....You are already everything you are seeking." Thich Nhat Hanh

CHAKRA
Sanskrit term that translate to "wheel" or "disk"; refers to the seven major energy centers that run along your spine and are linked to archetypes like family, security, creativity, love, truth and more.

ELEMENT
Each chakra is associated with a different element of the physical world. They are Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Vibration, Light, and Ether.

ARCHETYPE
Each chakra relates to an archetype. When we look at the energy through the archetypes we can understand how our energy is flowing in relation to each of the chakras. This helps you determine if there are blocks, imbalance, or untapped energy moving through the themes in your life.

ACTIVE/INACTIVE
Like you, chakra energy can be active or inactive. Low energy can present as an "Inactive" chakra; High energy flow can result in an "Overactive" chakra.

CLEAR/BLOCKED
Chakras become blocked or "closed" due to stress or emotional conflict. Blocks can be unconscious, which can happen when we're not ready to deal with certain traumas or stressors. Clearing chakras by addressing these themes and taking action to move the energy helps to "Unblock" the energetic theme or chakra center.

BALANCED/IMBALANCED
Your energy flows harmoniously through your chakras like a spinning disk or wheel. Imbalance of energy flow occurs when a chakra becomes "Inactive" or "Overactive".
